"What?! Can you believe it? I made the nice list!" (starts doing my best "Miss America" cry)
"Oh... that wasn't for me? Oh, I see. You meant my kid is on the nice list... Ooohhhh, I see. Gotcha. Well, darn."
Kids love knowing that they've made it to the nice list. What better way than to provide them a confirmation of making the nice list?
"... but how do I give them the confirmation?"
I'm glad you've asked! Sure, some of us parents have gone the extra mile and written a letter (from "Santa"), and given it to our kids. However, a piece of paper, whether written by hand or printed out, isn't the same as something that looks super official.
You're certified Nice!
I was able to partner with Package From Santa for this one. I received a whole package and was able to schedule a call from Santa, too. We scheduled the call for Christmas Eve. Santa will call while he's getting the sleigh ready! (keep reading for a special offer for my readers)
I received their Silver package which includes:
Personalized letter from Santa
Personalized nice list certificate
8 1/2 X 11 Photo of Santa
Personalized flight plan
Santa's special North Pole return address label
Special shipping label addressed to the child
Genuine North Pole stamp
BONUS: video greeting from Santa
BONUS: a Personalized call from Santa
BONUS: Personalized printable nice list guide
I decided to do this for my daughter. She is only 6. My son is 14, and the magic isn't the same for him. We've done similar for him when he was younger. So, this was a perfect opportunity for my daughter. She was so excited to get mail addressed to her!
Personalized flight path
Nice list certificate
Letter from Santa
Photo of Santa
I'll be posting a video of us opening the package and reading the letter from Santa on my Instagram and/or Facebook page (I'll link when I get that uploaded). Also, Christmas Eve, I'll record her getting the phone call. So if you want to see that, follow on Instagram and Facebook. I'll try to come back here to link as well.
My thoughts?
This is a well-done package! From the paper to the seal, the photo, everything! It's really well thought out, and well-crafted. I didn't expect this level of quality, but honestly, it's amazing. You can't beat the price either! It's pretty affordable!
We also received a video, that I have not yet had a chance to show Bella. It looks really good, too though!
Bella was SOO excited when she saw this package though. She wants us to frame it all so she can hang it on her bedroom wall. We may do that just because.
Depending on who you ask, Christmas is about many things. For some its religious, for some it's the season of giving, for some it's time for family and friends. I want my kids to remember the magic of Christmas. I want them to do things like this for their kids when they're older. My parents did something similar (handwritten letters and what not). I think this is a cool idea and something that will obviously thrive during the holidays.
