Last week, we had so many opportunities to do things that we had never done. Another first visit for us was the Hollywood Wax Museum on the Parkway in Pigeon Forge.
We saw the stars of many of our favorite shows and movies, past and present. I was shocked that you are allowed and encouraged to pose with and take pics of the figures. So, that is what we did. (Although, I was a little disturbed that both of my kids jumped onto a round bed with Hugh Heffner! Of course, they had no idea who he was, but as a mom….just a bit unnerving).
They finally started to see characters that they recognized and they really got into it, then. It took us about 45 minutes to see the entire collection. Here are a few of our favorite photos:

- Oh, thought that was me for a second…. LOL

- Taking Forrest’s Box of chocolates…

- 3 Goofballs!

- Here Come the MEN IN BLACK

- Just a bit outdated….
It is also in the same parking lot as The Castle of Chaos and Hannah’s Maze of Mirrors. You can actually save a few bucks by buying a Pick 3 Pass that gets you in to all 3 of these.
Because my little one is only 4, we passed on the Castle of Chaos. I looked at the website and brochures and it looked to be a little much for me him. It is a 5D interactive Haunted house – so to speak. Think Buzz Lightyear ride at Disney – only much bloodier and scarier. Zombies and life-like guns….just too much for my kids.

Now, inside the Castle sits Hannah’s Maze of Mirrors.

We did this one and we all had a great time. We somehow made a wrong turn and passed the same wizard about 3 times. So, we finally decided to try something else and found our way out. THEN, there was the tunnel. I am a grown woman and told my 7 yr old to close his eyes and walk. I guided him looking at his back and not paying attention to the spinning lights going around us. I still found myself hanging over the rail unable to stand up straight. When I emerged from the tunnel (all maybe 10 feet of it), I fell into a wall. It is crazy what a few little lights can do to your brain!
My kids loved this, but I almost lost the little one. It was weird that you could see them in every direction and had no clue which one was really them, but at times, you couldn’t see your own reflection when you were standing in a room full of mirrors! Strange!
So, this one stop, one parking place to find, one ticket will get your several hours of entertainment and 3 different attractions. Pretty sweet deal!
Disclosure – My family and I were given passes to these attractions in exchange for this post. All opinions, research and photos are my own.
